Meet Our Characters
I was a very reserved child with social anxiety, scared to make friends or have anyone close to me. Therefore, to this day, I still make imaginary friends to help me when I feel lonely. The characters of Karepango are some of those imaginary friends – each with different personalities inspired by the friends I have made through the years or by the friends I hope to have one day.

Kit
Kit is a tiny, round black tumbleweed who rolls around nervously, always clutching his childhood toy—a small, worn-out plush fish. Kit doesn’t like big crowds and will often hide behind furniture, peeking out with big, worried eyes. But if you’re patient, Kit will slowly roll up next to you and sit quietly, feeling safe in your presence..

Toro
Toro has the best legs in the group. No one can beat him – his legs can grow as long as he wants. He’s always on the go somewhere, whether he’s running, biking, roller skating, or on his trusty skateboard.

Pid, Pad, and Pud
Pid, Pad, and Pud run the world's most efficient (and exhausted) packing team. They are always seen together, moving at high speed, and one day... just maybe... they’ll finally take a day off.

Trinc, Tronc, and Trunc
Trinc, Tronc, and Trunc are three chaotic best friends and have been completely inseparable since birth. Trinc, always at the top of their signature stack, has the most energy and is the self-proclaimed leader. Tronc, in the middle, is the easygoing one—sleepy but loyal. Trunc, forever at the bottom, just wants someone else to take his spot, but he never complains because he secretly loves his friends (even if they squash him a little). Wherever there’s mischief, you can bet these three are behind it.

Nub
Toro has the best legs in the group. No one can beat him – his legs can grow as long as he wants. He’s always on the go somewhere, whether he’s running, biking, roller skating, or on his trusty skateboard.

Nay and Lay
Nay, a tiny, furious ball of rage, is always shaking his fist (even though he has no fists). Lay, his best friend, is so indifferent that if you poked him with a stick, he wouldn’t even flinch. They’ve been together forever, and despite their differences, they balance each other out perfectly.

Yobi
Yobi doesn’t know how or why he ended up in this world, but he sees it as his second chance at life. Every day is an adventure, and everything is exciting. He collects small trinkets and carries them around.

Pan
Pan just wants to wake up on time. He really does. But no matter what he tries, he always oversleeps and runs late. His little toasted body is constantly shaking with stress, and his eyes are always teary from panic. Everyone tells him to just go to bed earlier, but Pan insists, “It’s not that simple.”

Snarp the Eel
Snarp is a one-meter-long eel with a big, goofy smile. He knows he looks a little funny, but he’s just happy to be here. He’s incredibly clumsy—he trips on nothing, slides into things, and forgets what he was doing mid-task. This morning, he forgot to feed his goldfish, and he’s been worried about it ever since (don’t worry, Nub took care of it).

Haya the Normal One
Haya is just... here. He doesn’t know how he got here, but he accepts it. No one really knows what his deal is, but he’s oddly comforting to be around.

King
King may be a king, but he’s never let that change him. He grew up with nothing, so now that he has wealth, he’s incredibly generous—always remembering his friends’ birthdays, giving away tiny gifts, and making sure everyone feels special. How did he become king? No one knows.

Ka, Zo, and Ku
Ka, Zo, and Ku are a shining star, a colorful rainbow, and a soft little heart. Together, they spell Kazoku—family. Their favorite thing in the world is bringing people together, and they are always hosting dinner parties, picnics, and game nights. If you ever feel lonely, don’t worry—Kazoku will make sure you have a seat at their table. You're already invited.
